Touch-A-Truck

Today Saturday June 15th I attended the annual Touch-A-Truck event in Thousand Oaks. Touch-A-Truck is an event for children to see, touch, explore and honk the horns of their favorite trucks and emergency vehicles.

The event began with the Ventura County Sheriffs Department Helicopter landing in the field for all of the kids to see!!

Then my parents and I headed over the area where the Sheriff Vehicles were. My dad is a Ventura County Sheriff so I always like to visit the Sheriffs at all of my events!

I went inside the Bomb Squad Truck, sat in a police car and even hung out of the top of the SWAT truck!

I met the people who work with the Tonka Trucks... this was a big hit with the kids they were able to go inside , play with the different gadgets and honk the big horn...everyone even got their own mini Tonka truck to take home

Haunt Dawgz food truck was there.... we though they had an odd choice of vehicle... but as I was taking a picture with it the owner wanted his own pic of me with his truck.

Thank you Mom and Dad for going to the event with me!

Thank you to Adrienne Babcock for telling me about the event last night!!
